I know… sounds unreal right? That we could actually affect our well-being in 30 seconds. I thought the same thing until I started the practice of deep nasal breathing. Breath in for a count of 4 through your nose and breath our for a count of 4 through your nose (if possible, of you can breath out through your mouth.) We found that this simple, quick practice can be such a game changer. We have used it to turn a quick reaction into a calm reflection, turn an elevated state of confusion into a clear minded focus, a moment of life into a moment of appreciation. We normally use this breath for at least three breaths in a row and any more than that is a bonus. I hope it works for you too!
