I love this recipe for chocolate bark. Every time my niece comes to visit, she asks me to make it. My husband doesn’t say no when I offer it either! I hope you love it too.
In a small saucepan, heat on low:
- 1/2 cup nut butter (this is my favorite from Nutzo)
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup coconut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup (or less if you like a darker chocolate flavor)
Remove from heat and add in:
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder (this is my favorite from Equal Exchange)
- a dash of salt
Make sure everything is well incorporated. Use a wise if needed. Then pour into either an 8×8 pan lined with parchment paper or have fun filling some fun shaped silicone molds with it. Place in freezer for at least an hour and enjoy whenever ready!!
Store this in the freezer as it melts shortly after coming out of the freezer, but it doesn’t normally last long enough to melt around here. 🙂
